The intention of this first exhibit in the DAAC’s new space is to display DAAC loving images, created by DAAC fans. The exhibit will be up July 31-August 27 with various days & times to view the work in the gallery.

We also will have spoken word from a special guest: Bria (they/them/theirs), a black, queer multi-disciplinary artist born, raised, and based in the Grand Rapids area will be sharing their work!

All ages and abilities can submit artwork for this exhibit. No artwork will be turned away, unless it displays content that disagrees with The DAAC’s TEN POINTS, which can be reviewed here: https://thedaac.org/about

Artwork Requirements:
--Be no larger than 8.5”x 11”wide or 11” x 8.5” high.
--Created on printer paper, poster board/paper, craft paper, or mat boardArtwork.
--Option available to create art during our Open Studio or Family Art Nights (July 21 & 22) with your own supplies, our supplies, or our coloring pages that will be available.

Artwork Drop Off Dates at the DAAC:
--July 21st from 6:00-8:00PM (Open Studio Night)
--July 22nd from 6:00-8:00PM (Family Art Night)
--July 28th from 6:00-8:00PM (additional drop off date)

Additional Details:
This exhibit is considered a fundraising event for The DAAC. All works of art will be sold for $10.00 per piece and 100% of the sales will be collected by The DAAC. **You are not required to sell your artwork** All artwork that has not sold must be picked up at The DAAC on Wednesday, September 1st from 6:00-8:00PM. You will be contacted by a DAAC volunteer if your artwork has not sold. You will be required to fill out a submission form at drop-off.
