Hey! There’s a super cool show coming up called Loopapalooza — it’s a special showcase of loop-based artists, and it’s happening at The DAAC on Saturday, August 2nd. The lineup features three amazing acts: After Ours, Hannah Laine, and The Brandino Extravaganza. Each artist uses live looping in creative ways, so expect a night full of layered sounds, smooth grooves, and some serious talent. Doors open at 7 PM and the music starts at 8. It’s a $15 cover at the door. The show is all ages and, like all DAAC events, it’s drug- and alcohol-free. The space is wheelchair accessible, and Sacred Springs Kombucha will be serving drinks during the event. The flier has a vibrant and funky design with lots of neon-colored symbols on the sides — hearts, stars, lightning bolts, peace signs, and other fun abstract shapes. Photos of each artist are included in the middle of the design, set against a clean black background with bold, colorful text. If you're into creative live music and want to check out something unique and positive, this one’s definitely worth catching!

*Accessibility

The DAAC strives to be an inclusive and accessible space for all. We have built our space with inclusion in mind. During the building renovation process, we followed ADA guidelines. Some accessible features of the space include:

  • A ramp entrance to the building. It is made with concrete at the appropriate incline and has hand rails.
  • Two gender-neutral bathrooms. These have wide doors, lever handles, handrail, and plenty of space inside.
  • Venue seating. Benches are located against the side walls of the event space. A large stack of sturdy folding chairs with backs are available in the space at all times.
  • Curb cuts. The closest curb cut to our accessible ramp, unfortunately, contains gravel. Paved curb cuts are located at the intersection of Saunders Ct. and Plainfield Ave. on the North and West corners (near the entrance of Gaia Café).
