The Creston Neighborhood Association will be hosting dinner from local Creston-based restaurants at the DAAC with presentations from CNA’s community partners to learn about the work they are doing to bridge the gap for neighbors in health equity, affordable housing, safety and more! Talks will be every Wednesday starting on May 22nd, 5:30-6:30pm, at the DAAC.

  • May 22: "Public Health Resources" with Melinda Hunslinger of Kent County Health Department (Food by Mizizi) 
  • May 29: "Employment Services" with Marvin Martin of Urban League of West Michigan (food by Tacos el Cunado Plainfield)
  • June 5: "Navigating Housing Resources" with Audrey Hutchinson of Community Rebuilders (food by 616 Kabob)
  • June 12: "Community Master Planning" with Gregg Hampshire of Creston Neighborhood Association (food by Mike's Wings)
  • June 19: "Workforce Development & Certifications" with Haley Kozal of GRCC (food by River North Public House)
  • June 26: "Quitting Smoking" with Nicholle Applewhite of Urban League of West Michigan (food TBA)

  • July 17th: Crime Prevention through Environmental Design
