The DAAC's newest (and coolest) committee, the OTHER committee, was formed in an effort to create new programming at the DAAC and find new and awesome ways to make use of our little piece of Grand Rapids.
Our first initiative is to hold monthly swap meets with THEMES! The theme will also carry over to a monthly panel discussion and hopefully a work shop or other cool event.

and without further ado, February is hereby dubbed
FOOD FEBRUARY!

That means our first swap meet will be...

a Pot Luck!
a Recipe Swap!
and AWESOME TIMES!

Bring some food and a copy of the recipe!
we're going to scan the recipe, get a shot of the dish, and throw it all into a pdf you can download from the website. coolest cook book ever? possibly.

The event is FREE, but please bring a dollar or two donation to help us pay to keep the heat on in there.

Feel free to discuss what you plan to bring on this here wall. All dishes are welcome. Carnivore, omnivore, vegetarian, or vegan, we all gotta eat. Just please be sure to make your ingredients known so those of us with allergies and/or dietary restrictions will know what's cookin.
