Join us for the second screening of "Breasts Not Required" and "Breasts Not Included"! Donations encouraged (link below the ticket button). Refreshments, a Q&A with some of the cast, and a viewing of both films (total run time 40 minutes). This event is supported in part by the Grand Rapids Feminist Film Festival, the Women's+ Health Collective, The DAAC and Communitea Wellness!! 

Donations will be used to support film festival submission fees, generate a stipend for the production team, and to facilitate future screenings.

Breasts Not Included: a mastectomy story

An autobiographical short film about a mastectomy journey. And the questions that follow about how to define beauty, femininity and strength.

Breasts Not Required: mastectomy stories

running time: 34 minutes

Eight women tell their masteomcy stories, and challenge societal expectations for reconstruction. Along the way, they expose the breast implant industry and the problematic policies and health issues that create harm.

Tickets are free, we encourage the community to attend this meaningful event. There will be an opportunity to contribute donations to support funding for the films.
